It’s the time of year where we start thinking about which charity events to support in our beloved Devon and how we’re going to get fit enough for them. It may only be March, but we’ve already booked some interesting events, and no doubt by the end of the month we’ll have signed up for some more – we’ll keep you posted in case you’d like to join us!
So far this year, we’re planning to take part in lots of events across South Devon…
The Rowcroft Sleepwalk – 2000 ladies will be dressing up as Cowgirls on July 11th for a 10 mile ladies only night walk around the streets of Torbay to raise funds for Rowcroft Hospice. If you’d like to join us click here for more info.
The Torbay Holiday Helpers Network City To Sea – a 53 mile run or shorter 23 mile route which can be walked or run (we’ll let you guess which we’ll be doing!!). The route takes us from Exeter Quay to Babbacombe Downs in Torquay, walking along some of South Devon’s most beautiful countryside and coastline. If you’d like to take part all the info is here.
The Colour Rush – held on Paignton beach this event is a short 3 miles, with a twist… You can walk or run the route but you will get covered in paint. A lot of paint. By lots of people along the way! You can see why we just had to be part of it – colour is our life! To join in the fun, click here.
We’re dusting off our gym kit this week as Team AC Print Ltd get in training!
With all those miles ahead of us we’re getting a start on our training now, so you’re likely to see us walking, running or cycling all over the Torbay and Devon coastline over the coming months, and if you do please give us a wave and say hi.
