Never ones to pass up a challenge, two members of Team AC Print are running the Torbay Half Marathon this Sunday 29th June 2014.
Annie & Will set off at 9am for a quick lap of Paignton Green before heading off towards Torquay along the stunning coastal route. Once they reach Princess Gardens roundabout they turn around and complete the return journey to Paignton Green – then they do it all once more…well, it is for charity!
Annie, a seasoned runner and part of a local running group, has set the target for completing the run in 2.5hrs, and once finished will be found cooling off in the sea….Will has said he’ll be thrilled to do it in under 3hrs, and is pleased that the forecast for the weekend is taking a slightly cooler turn, with a spot of drizzle being welcome, but is keeping his fingers crossed that the rain holds off. The rest of us are excited to support them and will be there to cheer them on.
The 23rd Torbay Half Marathon is supporting 7 charities, with runners also free to run in support of other charities as well:
