Derek is the 3rd of 4 directors we have written about in this blog. Derek is a highly skilled print finisher with over 39 year’s experience in the print industry. He worked as a camera operator and machine minder for 25 years before joining AC Print as a Director. Derek is now responsible for managing the finishing and dispatch departments, ensuring all jobs are completed and dispatched on time. He likes to be very hands on and involved in the operational side of the business.
In his spare time, Derek enjoys the outdoor life – water-skiing in the summer, cycling in the autumn and skiing in the winter, to name but a few activities. Derek is not one to be stuck indoors, which seems to be a running theme to the team here when it comes to their free time!
Derek has recently been on a skiing holiday to beautiful Northern Italy not far from Lake Garda. He said his holiday was brilliant, exhilaration in the form of snow sports during the day, and then plenty of off-piste activity in the evening! And with a party as large as his (16 people went in total!), we’re sure there are a few stories likely to come out of the woodwork! The best part of the holiday though…the comfy bed in the hotel at the end of the day! He’s already looking at destinations for next year’s ski trip, but next on his list is a stag do in Costa Del Sol…we’ll keep you posted on that one!
